A Norfolk pizzeria built around dough, fire, and good company.
Venice NY Pizza is a neighborhood pizzeria in Norfolk built around one thing done well: wood-fired pizza. We mix and proof our dough every morning, stretch each pie by hand, and finish it in a 700 degree hearth until the crust blisters and chars.
We keep the menu tight and the toppings honest, sourced from local makers whenever we can. Come in for a slice at the counter or a whole pie at a table, and stay a while.
We exist to give Norfolk an honest slice: great dough, real ingredients, and a hot oven, without the fuss. That means proofing our dough slow, sourcing close to home, and treating every guest like a regular.
We would rather perfect a short menu than pad a long one, so we keep it simple, keep it fresh, and keep the oven roaring.
Opened with one wood oven and a short list of pies.
Word spread and the counter filled every weekend.
Started sending pizza by the tray to offices and parties.
Now a go-to slice for the Norfolk community.

Keeps the counter and the dining room humming.
Dough, sauce, and dressings are mixed by hand each day rather than delivered pre-made. That daily routine is part of what shapes the flavor of every pie.
Regulars are greeted by name at the counter, and the dining room stays open for lingering. The shop is built to feel like a neighborhood spot, not a quick stop.
Ingredients are sourced from local makers rather than the cheapest available supplier. That sourcing choice is treated as worth the extra effort on every pie.
Order a pie for pickup, book a table, or ask about catering, and we will get you a hot slice as fast as the oven allows.
